Fundamental Physics: The University among the protagonists of the “Breakthrough Prize”, an international scientific award

The 2025 Breakthrough Prize, an international scientific award, was awarded to the experiments conducted with the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) accelerator at CERN in Geneva, including Atlas, where a team of scientists from the Departments of Engineering and Architecture and Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics at the University of Udine are involved.
